Every woman is unique – and so is your skin
Fine Lines & Wrinkles
Fine lines are the first step to develop wrinkles. As you age, collagen and elastin beneath the surface of your skin starts to break down, resulting in deep wrinkles. This can emerge in different areas of the face. Some products can reduce and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Loss of Elasity
The most common cause to sagging skin is reduced production of collagen and elastin. This happens naturally with ageing and is unavoidable. Maintaining your skins elasticity and firmness is important in order to keep your skin looking its best.
Pores
Pores are the small openings at the top of our hair follicles that are responsible for transporting sebum and sweat to the surface of the skin. The smaller the pores, the clearer your skin appears. Reducing the appearance of pores helps the skin to look radiant and healthy. Enlarged pores can indicate clogging of oil and bacteria buildup. Factors that make your pores look bigger include an oily skin type, sun damage, aging and factors that clog the pores. Staying true to a good skin routine may help you.
Dark Circles & Puffiness
Mild swelling or puffiness under the eyes are common as you age. With aging, the tissues around your eyes, including some of the muscles supporting your eyelids, struggle in their fight against gravity. Normal fat that helps support the eyes can then move into the lower eyelids, causing the lids to appear puffy. Draining massage and circulation boosting ingredients is what we recommend.
Dry Skin
From the moment you are born, up to about 12 years, we all have “normal” skin. But the skin eighter then begins to overproduce or underproduce sebum. Dry skin has underproduction of sebum. This skin type can feel tight and rough and look dull. As a result, dry skin lacks the lipids that it needs to retain moisture and maintain a protective shield against external influences. A feeling of skin tightness, especially after showering and bathing is normal. Redness and itching may result as a consequence of having dry skin. Fine lines and wrinkles appear earlier in life of people with this skin type than people with more sebum production.
Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin is a common issue but not a medical diagnosis. The term generally refers to skin that is more prone to inflammation or adverse reactions. People with sensitive skin may have strong reactions to chemicals, and fragrances present in products that come into contact with the skin. What you need are products that have soothing and calming properties and takes care of your skin barrier.
Oily Skin
From the moment you are born, up to about 12 years, we all have “normal” skin. But the skin eighter then begins to either overproduce or underproduce sebum. Oily skin has overproduction of sebum. This is genetically decided and the result of the overproduction of sebum from sebaceous glands. Sebum is a waxy, oily substance and is needed for protection and hydration. Sebum is natural and normal; however, breakouts may easily happen when sebum mixes with dead skin cells and clogs the pores. If you have an oily skin type it is important not to remove all the sebum with drying products, this will make the problem worse, as it will send signals to the sebaceous glands to produce even more sebum to compensate. People with oily skin have a beautiful shine and often get less wrinkles with age. Therefore, it is important to use good oil-free products suited for this skin type.
Acne
Acne develops when pollution, dead skins cells, and sebum – an oily substance that lubricates your hair and skin – plug up and block hair follicles. Bacteria can trigger inflammation and infection resulting in more severe conditions. This is very common and can affect people of all ages. Almost all types of Acne can be successfully treated, it’s a matter of finding the right treatment for you. Severe conditions require aggressive treatment, such as medication to prevent scarring. Genetics, hormones, certain foods like dairy, stress, medication, cosmetics and environment can worsen Acne.
Pigmentation
Pigmentation, caused by melanin, refers to the coloring of the skin. Think of melanin as tiny umbrellas protecting your cells and DNA from the danger of UV radiation. Melanin is produced by melanocytes in the skin and is the pigment responsible for your skin’s color. Over and under production of melanin may lead to pigmentation disorders that may require you to consult a dermatologist. Some of our products may help you achieve a more even skin tone.
Cellulites
Cellulite is also known as orange-peel skin. Cellulite is caused by a buildup of fat underneath the skin. Some women are more predisposed to it than others. The amount of cellulite you have and how noticeable it is can be based on your genes, body fat percentage, and age. The thickness of your skin also affects the appearance of cellulite. Some treatments are available that may reduce its appearance. To achieve the best results, we recommend a holistic approach with healthy lifestyle, exercise, massage and nutrition combined with products.
